{"id":195,"date":"2004-05-02T06:00:00","date_gmt":"2004-05-02T06:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"\/article\/illusionist-kirby-vanburch-trial-date-set-for-july-6-2004"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T05:00:00","slug":"illusionist-kirby-vanburch-trial-date-set-for-july-6-2004","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/?p=195","title":{"rendered":"Illusionist Kirby VanBurch trial date set for July 6, 2004"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">A <st1:date year=\"2004\" day=\"6\" month=\"7\">July 6, 2004<\/st1:date> trial date, in the Tany County Circuit Court, has been set for the trial of Branson Illusionist Kirby VanBurch on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, and third degree assault on a law enforcement officer.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"> <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style=\"COLOR: black\">A Branson Police Department Press Release dated <\/span><st1:date year=\"2003\" day=\"14\" month=\"3\"><span style=\"COLOR: black\">March 14, 2003<\/span><\/st1:date><span style=\"COLOR: black\">, stated that &ldquo;Kirby VanBurch of Branson, was arrested at approximately <\/span><st1:time minute=\"50\" hour=\"21\"><span style=\"COLOR: black\">9:50 p.m.<\/span><\/st1:time><span style=\"COLOR: black\"> on <\/span><st1:date year=\"2003\" day=\"10\" month=\"3\"><span style=\"COLOR: black\">03\/10\/03<\/span><\/st1:date><span style=\"COLOR: black\">, shortly after he left the scene of an accident near Highway 76 and <\/span><st1:street><span style=\"COLOR: black\">Fall Creek Rd.<\/span><\/st1:street><span style=\"COLOR: black\">&rdquo;<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>According to the Press Release, &ldquo;the vehicle he was driving struck two road signs at that location and then continued to travel east-bound on Highway 76.&rdquo;<\/span><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"COLOR: black\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"> <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">The Press Release further stated, &ldquo;VanBurch was arrested for Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Driving While Intoxicated.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>In searching the vehicle VanBurch was driving, incident to the arrest, a concealed firearm was found and he was further charged with that violation.<span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes\">  <\/span>During the process, he assaulted the arresting officer, resulting in an additional charge of Assaulting a Police Officer.&rdquo;<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\"> <\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\" size=\"3\">According to published reports, VanBurch has pleaded &ldquo;not guilty&rdquo; and is currently free on $25,000 bond.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8230;on a felony charge of unlawful use of a weapon and misdemeanor&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[8],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-195","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-shows-attractions-news"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/195","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/users\/4"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=195"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=\/wp\/v2\/posts\/195\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fmedia&parent=195"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=195"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/bransoncourier.com\/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Ftags&post=195"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
