Even in Branson lodging matters – a grand Branson lodging experience

Recently an article entitled, “Branson’s Grand Plaza Hotel,” published on line in News.Branson.com emphasized the importance of lodging selection in the overall travel experience. It quoted Paul Miller, General Manager, Branson Tourism Center, as saying, “It makes no difference what the destination is, Branson or anywhere else, the choice of lodging will dramatically impact on the quality of the experience.”

It then went on to describe one of Branson, Missouri’s many fine lodging choices, the “Grand Plaza Hotel. It very carefully outlined some of the major areas that should be considered when considering a lodging choice such as types of accommodations, amenities, location and value using the “Grand Plaza” as the model for each point.

Interestingly, some of the same points making a hotel attractive for families also has appeal for groups. Annette Wood, Director of Group Sales, Branson Tourism Center said, “We work with Grand Plaza a lot with our groups. We love the location and the overall experience our groups receive.”

Excerpts:

Kaely McNeely, Front Office Manager of the Grand Plaza Hotel said, “The Grand Plaza offers a blend of quality, flexibility, location, value and family friendly amenities that makes it a great choices for your Branson lodging.”

McNeely advises that the 200 room suite hotel is located near the middle of the famed “Branson Strip,” Highway 76,” and about a block north providing the best of both worlds, quick access to the strip when desired and the peace and quiet of not being directly on the strip….. within walking distance of the Tanger Outlet Center, one of Branson’s largest discount factory outlet malls…. the ‘Branson Variety Theatre’ which has some of Branson’s most popular shows such as the ‘Spirit of the Dance’ and the ‘Twelve Irish Tenors.
