The recently announced Frontier Airlines service and the lower air fares into and out of the Branson Airport (BKG) was discussed recently in an article entitled, “Air Travel to Branson now has another low cost option” published on line at News.Branson.Com. Sharon Budnick, Director, Branson Travel Agency, a subsidiary of Branson Tourism Center, one of Branson’s largest and most respected vacation planning services and sellers of Branson show tickets, attraction tickets and lodging said, “Frontier has announced extremely low introductory fares for flights to and from Branson and there are some great deals.”
The Frontier Airlines flights from Denver to Branson Airport will start April 20 and offer direct service to and from a western air carrier hub with connections to many other destinations. This compliments the current service AirTran Airways is providing to the east through its Atlanta hub from Branson Airport.
Excerpts from article:
The new Frontier service to Branson is scheduled to be offered four days a week, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday on Embraer Regional (E-190) Jets that hold approximately 99 passengers. She [Budnick] also points out that the introductory fares, with the same conditions applying, provide extremely low fares to and from Branson from other western cities such as one way fares from Las Vegas for $99.00, Los Angeles for $109.00, Phoenix $99.00 and Seattle for $119.00. and San Francisco for $109.00.
